Economy

MJ Bot includes a fully featured economy system that gives your members a virtual currency to earn, spend, gamble, and trade. Configure everything from currency name to shop items through the dashboard.

Commands

Currency

Command	Description	Usage
/balance	Check your current wallet and bank balance	/balance [@user]
/daily	Claim your daily currency reward	/daily
/work	Work to earn currency (has a cooldown)	/work
/pay	Transfer currency to another member	/pay @user <amount>

Banking

Command	Description	Usage
/bank	Deposit currency into your bank for safekeeping	/bank <amount>
/withdraw	Withdraw currency from your bank to your wallet	/withdraw <amount>
/rob	Attempt to steal currency from another member	/rob @user

tip

Currency stored in the bank is protected from robbery. Encourage members to deposit regularly.

Shop

/shop	Browse the server shop	/shop
/buy	Purchase an item from the shop	/buy <item>
/inventory	View your purchased items	/inventory
/shopadd	Add an item to the server shop (admin)	/shopadd <name> <price> [description]
/shopremove	Remove an item from the server shop (admin)	/shopremove <item>

Gambling

Command	Description	Usage
/slots	Play the slot machine	/slots <bet>
/blackjack	Play a game of blackjack	/blackjack <bet>
/roulette	Play roulette	/roulette <bet> <choice>

warning

Gambling commands can result in members losing their currency. There is no way to reverse a lost bet.

Dashboard Configuration

Navigate to the Economy section of the dashboard to customize the system.

Setting	Description
Currency Name	The name of your server's currency (e.g., coins, credits, gold)
Starting Balance	The amount of currency new members start with
Daily Amount	How much currency the /daily command gives
Work Cooldown	The cooldown duration between /work uses
Shop Management	Add, edit, or remove shop items from a visual interface

Changes made in the dashboard apply immediately. Members do not need to rejoin the server for new settings to take effect.
