Suggestions
Let your community submit and vote on ideas. Suggestions are posted to a dedicated channel where members can upvote or downvote, and staff can approve or deny them.

Using a review channel lets your staff filter out inappropriate or duplicate suggestions before they reach the public suggestion channel.
How It Works
- A member uses
/suggestto submit their idea. - If a review channel is configured, the suggestion appears there first for staff approval.
- Once approved (or immediately if there is no review channel), the suggestion is posted to the suggestion channel with voting reactions.
- Members vote using the configured emojis.
- Staff can formally approve or deny the suggestion at any time using
/suggestions approveor/suggestions deny.
Suggestion States
| State | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | Awaiting staff review (only if review channel is configured) |
| Open | Published and open for voting |
| Approved | Accepted by staff |
| Denied | Rejected by staff |
When a suggestion is approved or denied, the embed is updated with the new status and the staff member's reason (if provided). The original votes are preserved.
Anonymous Mode
When anonymous mode is enabled, the suggestion embed does not display the author's name or avatar. This encourages honest feedback without fear of judgment.
Server administrators can still see who submitted a suggestion through the dashboard and audit logs. Anonymous mode only hides the author from the public suggestion post.
Auto-Thread
When enabled, a discussion thread is automatically created on each suggestion post. This keeps voting reactions clean while giving members a space to discuss the idea in detail.
