Dashboard Configuration
The Notifications section of the dashboard provides an interface for managing all tracked channels and streamers.
Adding Channels
- YouTube -- Enter a YouTube channel URL or ID to start tracking uploads.
- Twitch -- Enter a Twitch username to start tracking live streams.
Settings Per Notification
For each tracked channel or streamer, you can configure:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Discord Channel | Which Discord text channel receives the notification |
| Mention Role | A role to ping when a notification is sent (optional) |
| Custom Message | A personalized notification message using placeholders |
Use the mention role setting to ping a dedicated "Stream Notifications" or "YouTube Updates" role so that only interested members are notified.
Placeholders
Customize your notification messages with the following placeholders.
YouTube Placeholders
| Placeholder | Replaced With |
|---|---|
{channel} | The YouTube channel name |
{title} | The video title |
{url} | The video URL |
Twitch Placeholders
| Placeholder | Replaced With |
|---|---|
{channel} | The Twitch username |
{title} | The stream title |
{url} | The stream URL |
{game} | The game or category being streamed |
Example custom message:

If no custom message is set, a default notification message is used that includes the channel name and a link.
YouTube notifications may have a slight delay (up to 15 minutes) due to YouTube's feed update interval. Twitch notifications are typically delivered within 1-2 minutes of going live.
